Haptic Feedback Integration for Surgical Training Simulation

Résumé

This paper introduces an innovative approach to integrate haptic feedback in surgical training simulations, utilizing a combination of Python and C++ with supporting technologies to enhance interactivity and realism. By overcoming limitations associated with traditional haptic feedback systems, such as local processing constraints, our methodology enables the seamless transmission of haptic cues over the internet, significantly improving accessibility and distribution. This research aims to demonstrate the potential of our system to enhance user experience in medical education and beyond, setting a new standard for immersive virtual environments.
