Résumé

Family play situations offer a high potential for the mathematical thinking development of the child. Playing with building blocks can particularly promote spatial geometric ideas. Following, support activities in a block play situation with wooden blocks are analysed from a participatory perspective. It is shown that the supportive activities are realized jointly by the adult and the child. Furthermore, a theoretical extension of the production design is carried out on the basis of the empirical analysis, which is based on theories of interaction and participation.
