H ∞ / H − fault detection observer design for nonlinear conformable fractional-order systems

Résumé

This study is concerned with the design of fault detection observers for nonlinear conformable fractional-order systems. An H∞/H− fault detection scheme is applied to maximize the sensitivity of faults and minimize the effect of disturbances. Based on basic fractional calculus lemmas and fractional-order Lyapunov stability theory, sufficient conditions are obtained to design a fault detection observer. Finally, the advantages and effectiveness of the proposed fault detection method are illustrated through a numerical example.
