Résumé

Inside the Budapest conference "Social dynamics" a session was devoted to the conceptual and political results of the EU H2020 project RURALIZATION. Nicole Mathieu tried to present the French CNRS' team contribution to the project in third parts: 1. Long term French methodology and tools; 2. why the French commitment in the project; 3. Main but provisional results. The conclusion focuses on some recommendations: produce a relevant knowledge adapted to the historical and cultural diversity of European ruralities
