H-STREAM: Composing Microservices for Enacting Stream and Histories Analytics Pipelines

Résumé

This paper introduces H-STREAM, a framework that proposes microservices to support the analytics of streams produced by systems collecting data stemming from IoT (Internet of Things) environments. Microservices implement operators that can be composed for implementing specific analytics pipelines as queries using a declarative language. Queries (i.e., microservices compositions) can synchronise online streams and histories to provide a continuous and evolving understanding of the environments they come from.
