Quelques exemples
Résumé
The study of works of art, due to the constraints inherent in this type of analysis – rarity and/or unique character of the objects, no or restricted sampling, fragility and impossibility of moving objects, variety of materials, etc. – has been one of the first fields where transportable and portable/handheld instruments have been used. Didactic examples chosen through the on-site analysis campaigns performed since more than fifteen years are presented, illustrating the difficulties and progress achieved.
