Brazed Plate-Fin Heat Exchangers (PFHE) have a complex technology which offers high-level heat transfer, but implies very fine design. The objective of this work is the modeling and the simulation of the PFHE in 3D. It takes into account the fluid maldistribution on the width of the layers, which can reduce strongly the thermal performance of the exchanger. The 3D temperatures cartography will allow mecha- nical stresses calculation. The fluid path is put in the same category as an hydraulic network defined with the graph theory. A meshing method has been specifically adapted for the thermohydraulic coupling. This coupling implies a simultaneous resolution of the equations of heat balance and the conservation equations of mass and momentum by the mean of a non linear system of large dimension and sparse, with fitted numerical methods. Finally, industrial case studies are presented to illustrate the 3D simulator.
