Modeling random conductor distribution in stator winding slots: impact on common and differential-mode impedances
Modélisation de la distribution aléatoire des conducteurs dans les encoches d'un bobinage statorique : impact sur les impédances de mode commun et différentiel
Résumé
This paper presents a unified methodology for modeling the Common Mode (CM) and Differential Mode (DM) impedances of a permanent magnet synchronous motor. It combines finite element (FE) modeling methodologies with Spice-type discrete-parameter circuit simulations. These tools are then used to study a set of windings with random conductor shuffling to determine the impact of manufacturing process on the system's EMC performance. Finally, several representations are proposed and discussed to optimize the EMC performance of these devices.
