Security issues in cloud-based IoT systems

Résumé

Cloud computing has transformed the IT landscape by offering benefits like scalability, flexibility, and cost reduction. However, the security challenges in cloud environments have raised concerns for organizations adopting cloud services. In this paper, an overview of cloud computing is provided, including its main characteristics, deployment models, service models, and associated benefits. The focus is on categorizing cloud threats and proposing an improved taxonomy to better organize and classify security concerns specific to cloud computing. Through a literature survey, this research presents detailed findings and analyses from relevant papers, contributing to a more comprehensive understanding of the challenges and solutions in cloud computing security. By addressing these knowledge gaps, organizations can enhance their understanding and effectively mitigate risks associated with cloud services.
