Résumé

This paper provides an optimization method for integrated modular motor driver (IMMD) with openwinding synchronous motors. This method can be used on different topologies of open winding machines and can be applied to others stator configurations. The concept of IMMD as well as different integration works are presented. All possible inverter integration methods are described with three of them experimented in the literature. Finally, an application of the optimization process is detailed. It allows to optimize the use of the integrated modular inverter volume, while respecting the physical, thermal, and mechanical constraints of the motor and the components.
