Design of a 3-Bit Transmitarray Antenna at 300 GHz using Asymmetric Linear Polarizers
Résumé
In this paper, we present the design of a 3-bit, linearly polarized transmitarray antenna at 300 GHz. The selected three-layer unit-cell architecture, realizing an asymmetric linear polarizer, achieves wideband performance and good robustness to fabrication tolerances at submillimeter-wave frequencies. The design is realized and optimized using an ad-hoc tool. A peak gain of 32.9 dBi at 290 GHz is obtained, with an aperture efficiency of 44.5% and sidelobe levels less than -24 dB.
