Phylogenetic networks: how advanced are the methods?
Résumé
Phylogenetic networks were introduced to represent the evolution of species in cases where horizontal evolution processes are present: hybridization, recombination, lateral gene transfer, etc. This talk will give an overview on the latest advances of phylogenetic network methods, especially methods used to reconstruct phylogenetic networks.
