Bang-Bang growth rate optimization in a coupled McKendrick model

We study the optimization of the growth rate (a maximal eigen-value) of a partially clonal population, which density follows a coupled system of McKendrick-VonFoerster equations of evolution (extend of the model given in [1]), with respect to probabilities of switching from sexual (resp. asexual) to asexual (resp. sexual) way of reproducing at the boundary condition, i.e. the newborn condition. The idea is to apply the result of the variation of the first eigenvalue (Malthusian growth rate) [2, 3] for this problem.
