Données archéobotaniques sur les établissements ruraux du second âge du Fer en Languedoc-Roussillon
Résumé
This summary of the archaeobotanical data available for the rural habitats from the 2nd Iron Age, in the Languedoc Roussillon, is put together in an attempt to recognize potential specificities in terms of environment, farming economy and society. A very reduced number of studies is taken into account due to the very restrictive time period considered: two sites for charcoal analysis, six for the analysis of seeds/fruits. The results obtained are discussed taking into consideration data from other periods and other types of settlement. No particular specificities have been recognized so far; the environmental and economical data available for the rural sites are in agreement with those obtained in the other contemporaneous sites.
