From individual learning to organisational learning: A case study of knowledge flow via a digital collaborative knowledge management Platform

Résumé

This paper presents a case study of a co-writing situation within a collaborative platform, to study a particular case of the transfer of knowledge from individual to organization. In the context of knowledge management, knowledge sharing is difficult and the knowledge management system may be the tool, or the “artifact”, using the terms of the instrumented activity, in which our method is grounded, that may help the discovery of implicit knowledge. Therefore, we present a case study that examines a co-writing situation within a collaborative platform to observe and analyze this situation, in order to determine which use of the collaborative platform is performed, which practices could be shared, and what new needs emerge from it.
