Control design for an octorotor for radar applications

Résumé

As part of a research and educational project, this paper proposes an H∞ controller for an octorotor used for radar applications. In the context of a vertical takeoff and landing multirotor with an embedded radar system, the H∞ controller synthesis is developed based on a simplified linearized model and tested in simulation on the nonlinear model. A wind model, including turbulence and gust wind, has been considered in order to validate the robustness of the proposed controller.
