Semi-Lagrangian particle methods for complex fluid and fluid-structure dynamics
Résumé
In this talk I will present some recent advances in the design and applications of semi-lagrangian particle methods in CFD.
These include :
-the construction of high order methods for advection-dominated problems and their application to the DNS of turbulent transport at high Schmidt numbers
-the extension and application of penalization methods in combination with particle methods for the DNS of flows around rigid and deforming bodies
-the concept of hybrid computing on CPU/GPU platforms for the DNS of turbulent flows.
