This is a description the FreeFem++-cs software, which implements a graphical interface for the FreeFem++ language dedicated to the finite elements method. We detail how FreeFem++-cs helps users all along the development cycle. Each step in the cycle is described with examples and external links for more information. For advanced users who need to go further than all the functionalities presented here, a list of external software tools is proposed.
