Choquet integral capacity calculus for health index estimation of multi-levelindustrial systems

Résumé

For complex systems, efficient health monitoring should address not only component but also higher system abstraction levels since decision-making often relies on the global system state. In this paper, a health index is computed by fusing values within an indicator vector related to global system function. The fusion operator used is the Choquet integral. This requires the identification of capacities (Choquet integral parameters) for each function within the system. In this way, a bottom-up approach is introduced to infer capacities of each system function from those computed at the component level. Inference can be implemented for components/sub-systems in parallel or in series. Consistent with initial work dealing with system components implemented in parallel, the feasibility and interest of our approach are shown on a sub-system of the TELMA platform structured with three components in series.
