Résumé

This report describes the microbiological investigation of an outbreak of P. aeruginosa producing the extended-spectrum OXA-19 in a French university hospital. The 48 isolates producing OXA-19 recovered from 27 patients were clustered into 3 PFGE patterns. The blaOXA-19 gene responsible for OXA-19 was a part of class 1 integron.
