Impact of uncertainties in 2D hyperthermia using stochastic finite element methods
Résumé
Uncertainties in biological tissue properties are weighed in the case of an hyperthermia calculation. Stochastic methods are applied to analyse the impact of this variability on the distribution of the electromagnetic power absorbed inside the body of a patient. It enables to realize a sensibity analysis and an uncertainty analysis more efficiently than when using the Monte Carlo method or a kriging technic.
