Determination of the composition of homogeneous light element binary compounds using charged particle induced nuclear reactions

Résumé

In this paper we describe the application of nuclear reactions induced by charged particles for the instrumental analysis of homogeneous binary compounds. The principle of a very accurate method of calibration, the "average stopping power" method, is given. The overall accuracy of the analytical results is discussed, and examples of analysis are given.
