Structural characterization of the organic network in the hybrid glass (TMOS-TMSM-MMA)

Structural characterization of the organic network in the hybrid glass (TMOS-TMSM-MMA). A 3-(trimethoxy-silyl)propyl methacrylate (TMSM)-methylmethacrylate (MMA)-tetramethyl-orthosilicate (TMOS) hybrid-oxide glass was manufactured using a sol-gel process. The results obtained by spectrometric techniques (Raman, NMR, PDMS) and DSC allowed us to investigate its microstructure by studying its physico-chemical properties. A modelization of this hybrid glass microstructure is proposed.
