TRANSPORT PROPERTIES OF HEAVY ELECTRON METALS
Résumé
Resistivity (ρ) and thermoelectric power (Q) experiments are described for two different ground states at zero pressure (P) : a normal phase (CeAl3) and a superconducting phase (UBe13). In CeAl3, antiferromagnetism occurs clearly at P = 0 and may disappear rapidly under pressure. Magnetic field and pressure experiments in UBe13 show that antiferromagnetism and superconductivity may be antagonist.
