ULTRASONIC ATTENUATION NEAR THE LAMBDA LINE OF 4He UNDER PRESSURE
Résumé
Ultrasonic attenuation was measured near the lambda line of 4He under pressure, extending the work of Carey et al. below 1 MHz to higher frequencies up to 90 MHz. The behaviours of the relaxation time for the attenuation peak cannot be explained by the Pokrovskii-Khalatnikov theory. The dynamic scaling hypothesis seems to work also well under pressure.
