Résumé

We report promising clinical outcomes using ustekinumab as a first-line therapy in bullous pemphigoid when combined with a short, 8-week regimen of superpotent topical corticosteroids. Furthermore, the CD40 ligand/interleukin-4 ratio emerged as a potential predictive biomarker of treatment response, possibly reflecting a T helper 1-skewed immune environment that favours ustekinumab’s mechanism of action.
