How urban landscape shapes the populations’ genetic structure of Armadillidium nasatum?
Résumé
Land use changes originating from anthropic influence significantly disturb ecosystem dynamics worldwide, therefore, representing one of the main threats to biodiversity and associated ecosystem services. These land use changes perturb deeply the structure of the landscape and its associated habitats, modifying both the landscape composition (i.e. land cover) and configuration (i.e. spatial arrangement of land cover). Specifically, this manifests through the loss, degradation and fragmentation of habitats which are reshaped into several small isolated patches surrounded by unsuitable habitat (i.e. biogeographic islands).
