An introduction to TWG22: Curricular resources and task design in mathematics education

Résumé

At CERME14, TWG22 continued to integrate macro-level research on curricular resources with micro-level research focusing on more specific units of curriculum design, namely tasks. The sessions covered several key aspects: the analysis of (digital) textbooks and curricular resources to examine their impact within broader curricular systems and to compare educational systems; the design of tasks and resources (including digital resources) across different contexts and for various purposes; and empirical studies investigating students' and teachers' interactions with curricular resources and textbooks, with particular attention to their perspectives and experiences. Throughout the sessions, participants highlighted numerous connections between TWG22 and topics explored in other thematic working groups, emphasising the potential for further collaboration.
