Zeolite-Templated Carbon Pellets by in situ Generated Binder: Deformation Behavior under High-Pressure CO2 Adsorption
Résumé
Mechanically stable Zeolite-templated carbon pellets were synthesized by in situ carbon binder generated from controlled ethylene decomposition. These pellets present high CO2 adsorption capacity (16 mmol g-1 at 40 bar). Under applied pressure, digital image correlation revealed a distinctive and reversible mechanical response, characterized by an initial contraction followed by material swelling.
