Swept Heterodyne Correlation for Long-Baseline Stellar Interferometry
Résumé
To overcome sensitivity and bandwidth bottlenecks of heterodyne stellar interferometry in the near infrared we use highly-chirped pulses as local oscillator to achieve phase-sensitive broadband detection (1.5 THz) with GHz-resolution at astronomical fluxes.
