Resources Distribution and Monitoring Mechanism of Teachers in Public Elementary Schools
Résumé
This study aimed to assess the resource allocation and monitoring systems for teachers in public elementary schools within Caraga District, Division of Davao Oriental. It employed universal sampling and a non-experimental, quantitative research design with a correlational approach. A total of 132 public elementary school teachers participated as respondents. The analysis involved the use of the mean, Pearson Product Moment Correlation coefficient (Pearson r), and regression analysis. Results showed that resource distribution—covering curriculum, development, maintenance, community engagement, and environmental aspects—was rated highly. Similarly, monitoring mechanisms—pertaining to guidelines, exploration, curriculum relevance, delivery, and learning—also received high ratings. A significant relationship was found between resource distribution and monitoring mechanisms, indicating that resource domains notably influence monitoring practices. These insights can guide educational institutions in fostering a peaceful work environment and building peacekeeping skills through seminars and workshops aimed at improving resource allocation and monitoring systems for teachers in these schools.
