Unions
Résumé
Unions are intermediary organizations formed by workers with the purpose of defending and advancing their rights. Their existence is based on the key principles of freedom to join and independence from states and employers. They appeared in early capitalist societies and it is possible to distinguish three overlapping stages in their development.
