Corrosion measurement of reinforced concrete in a bridge by GPR scanning, crack's analysis and dielectric measurement
Résumé
In this study, GPR scanning, crack's analysis and dielectric measurement have been used together to study corrosion levels of a bridge's pillar. (1) Scanning by GPR, the positions of the rebars could be found, which helped to grid the test areas and calculate the mean time difference between directed wave and the reflected wave (R-D). ( 2) The frequency dependent dielectric permittivity of the zones in the grids could be measured by an open-ended probe, and then the signal's attenuation factor could be calculated. (3) The density of the cracks could be estimated by accounting the pixel numbers in the tested area. Comparing the mean time difference in (R-D) by GPR, the attention calculated by the tested dielectric permittivity, and the density of cracks in the tested areas, the unhealthy area with high corrosion level could be estimated.
