A modelling methodology to predict the advantages of urine source separation in Paris

Résumé

Urine source separation (USS) is a potent approach that may reduce nutrient peak loads in the influent wastewater. A phenomenological model (influent generator) was modified and adopted to predict the influent properties and simulate potential advantages gained from implementing USS in Paris. Several scenarios of USS were studied to investigate potentials of reducing nitrogen peak loads in the influent wastewater.
