Spectroscopy with electro-optic dual frequency combs.
Résumé
Optical spectroscopy is a powerful technique that is used for a variety of applications by studying the spectrum of a light source. One of the most common spectroscopic applications is gas absorption spectroscopy, where the absorption profile of a gas is captured by comparing the optical spectrum of an incident light source with the one transmitted through the gas. The study of this profile allows the extraction of several parameters of the sample such as its temperature, its composition, the pressure of the different components, etc.
