Dynamic Programming for the Synchronization of Energy Production and Consumption Processes

Résumé

Synchronization of heterogeneous processes is a difficult issue in Scheduling area. Related Mathematical Programming models are difficult to handle, because of the large gaps induced by rational relaxation. We consider here renewable energy production and consumption processes, which have to be performed in situ, and so which must be managed in a synchronized way. We first propose a global dynamic programming algorithm which combine dynamic programming schemes designed in order to deal with both production and consumption processes, and next a pipe-line decomposition which speeds the resolution process while emulating the way those processes may collaborate in a flexible way.
