Résumé

Silicon Carbide radiation detectors are gaining widespread interest due to their excellent radiation hardness, high thermal conductivity, and wide bandgap property. In this paper, we will review the current state-of-the-art in Silicon Carbide radiation detectors technology, as developed by the INFN-SiCILIA collaboration. We discuss the properties and advantages of Silicon Carbide radiation detectors, as well as recent advancements in their fabrication and performance. We also explore the potential applications of SiC detectors in various fields. Overall, Silicon Carbide detectors show great promise for improving radiation detection capabilities in a wide range of environments. We will also discuss the challenges and future prospects of using these devices in radiation detection applications.
