Two rare species representing the newly recorded subfamily Cyclothyadinae Lundblad, 1941 (Acari, Hydrachnidia, Hydryphantidae) from China
Résumé
Two species new to science, i.e. Cyclothyas longipalpis Li and Jin sp. nov. and Cyclothyas smiti Li and Guo sp. nov., are described in this paper, representing the newly recorded subfamily, Cyclothyadinae Lundblad, 1941, among hydryphantid mites from China. Detailed structures are illustrated and photographed by optical microscope. Meanwhile, observations of each peripheral sclerites are conducted to prove that its shape cannot be used for species identification, but the fused situation of the first pair of peripheral sclerites and glandularia could provide a basis.
