Bahla historic mosque. Report on the salvage excavation (2003) and bioanthropological study of the bone pit.
Résumé
A pit dating to the end of the Umm an-Nar period (circa 2000 cal BC), containing human remains and various artifacts, was discovered beneath the historic mosque of Bahla and excavated under emergency conditions in 2003. The human remains were later analyzed as part of the author’s doctoral research. This report presents the results detailed in the author's PhD thesis, now translated into English.
