Influence of contrast properties on the evolution of carbon/carbon composites under dynamical conditions of rubbing contact

Résumé

Influence of contrast properties on the evolution of carbon/carbon composites under dynamical conditions of rubbing contact. The present work proposes a methodology for the study of carbon/carbon composites under dynamical stress and conditions of rubbing contact. It is based on the use of a finite-elements method (FEM) and a homogenization technique is applied to an elementary cell of the composite under contact condition. The comparison of random equivalent representative volume element underlines the importance to take into account the contact interface in such process.
