The Theory of Bio-Cultural Diversity

Résumé

The theory of bio-cultural diversity emerges from the observation that regions where humans have long interacted with various species tend to exhibit a significant, and potentially causal, relationship between the diversity of species and the richness of human cultural elements.

While the origins of this theory can be traced to historical dialogues between Biology and Anthropology, as well as their respective sub-disciplines, its contemporary understanding and development requires a comprehensive examination of the logical, epistemological, praxeological, axiological, and metaphysical foundations that underpin it. 10 11 12 13 14

This book offers a non-exhaustive review of these foundational elements, alongside proposals for mathematical and empirical advancements in the theory. Special attention was given to connecting mathematical formalism with a typology of scientific styles and worldviews prevalent in various societies that embody different bio-cultural diversity systems.
