Effects of some cyclic nucleotides on the wound healing and the regeneration of the sea-anemones, Cereus peddunculatus penn. and (Metridium senile) L.

Résumé

1. The variation of the synthesis of soluble collagen were studied during cicatrization and regeneration in sea-anemones treated with cyclic nucleotides and in non-treated animals. 2. Monobutyryl cAMP, dibutyryl cAMP, dibutyryl cGMP, 8-Br cAMP and 8-Br cGMP were tested at different doses and at different times during the development of this material. 3. Mono- and dibutyryl cAMP had a promotive effect while the other tested nucleotides had no effect or a toxic one. 4. The results obtained were compared with those observed on animals belonging to different zoological phyla.
