Correlated disorder in nanostructured surfaces displaying angle-dependent diffusion

Résumé

We fabricate perforated dielectric layers by dip-coating to explore the optical effects of structural correlation and disorder, as a means to tune certain aspects of appearance. When the perforations displayed short-range correlation, angle-dependent diffused light is observed with suppression of the diffuse contribution around the specular direction.
