«Con una sottile vena di melodia nell’anima». Le liriche di Augusto Cesare Seghizzi su versi di Biagio Marin
Résumé
The pieces for voice and piano composed in the 1920s by Augusto Cesare Seghizzi on poems by Biagio Marin, in addition to documenting the friendship that bound the musician to the poet, constitute a significant sample of the Istrian master’s chamber music production. The article reconstructs the origin of the pieces and highlights the originality of the way they correspond, by simple musical means, to that refined process of “dilation through reduction” (Pasolini) that is at the heart of Marinian poetry.
