Le secteur LANSAD, fédérateur de diversité(s) ?
Résumé
The publication of this issue is in line with the XXVth RANACLES congress (National Meeting of Language Centres of Higher Education) which had the diversity of language centres as a theme. The articles of this issue deal with LANSAD (LANguages for Specialists of Other Disciplines) as a sector that can respond to the new missions of universities, in particular to take into account the diversity of learners’ needs by enhancing their individual skills. The focus is here placed on pedagogical issues (micro level) with the introduction of new educational practices which open on rethinking the learning environment, by including hybrid courses that contribute to the development of learners’ autonomy for the learning of foreign languages. The LANSAD unifying role is also questioned, insofar as it can also meet social (meso level), political and economic issues at national and European levels (macro level) within the scope of training future multilingual European citizens.
