Résumé

Prone position decreases acute lung macrophage inflammation quantified in vivo with [ 11 C](R)-PK11195 positron emission tomography in an experimental acute respiratory distress syndrome. Regional macrophage inflammation is maximal in the most anterior and posterior lung section of supine animals, in relation with increased regional tidal strain and hyperinflation, and reduced regional lung compliance.
