Control Design of Two Boost Choppers in Parallel by Petri Net and Flatness Approaches
Résumé
In this paper, we consider two boost choppers connected in
parallel, with two different sources, and a load with low power demand.
The two boost choppers can enter in a discontinuous mode of operation
by providing a small current that approaches zero. To prevent this, we
propose a new strategy for power distribution based on the value of the
current at the limit between continuous and discontinuous modes. In the
case of a very low power demand, one boost chopper can be disconnected,
ensuring a continuous mode operation for the remaining boost chopper.
