Playground matter, does it matter to children ?

Résumé

This contribution is part of my thesis work that aims to give children a voice in their use of school spaces. This work questions the habitability of school spaces by attempting to give - or give back - a voice to children in the study of pupils ; spatialities during lunchtime in three French primary and secondary schools. In so doing, this work questions the categories - what are these categories and how are they mobilized - that are at work in the study of students' spatialities as it is done today.
