From baccalaureat as a passeport to higher education to Parcoursup as a portofilio of competences
Du baccalauréat comme visa pour l’enseignement supérieur à Parcoursup comme portefeuille de compétences
Résumé
In France, the Orientation et Réussite des Étudiants (ORE) law, inclued Parcoursup, has generalised a form of selection, not always assumed, at the entrance to all higher education. To evaluate applications, the Fiche avenir encourages higher education courses to take into account the skills acquired by students outside the classroom. In return, students are invited to highlight their commitments, their extra-curricular activities and any other personal experience they deem relevant. The aim of this article is to examine both the individual and collective effects of this incentive.
