Collaborative Procedures :Nouveaux modes de Collaboration/ Nouveaux Récits
Résumé
In the context of Aarhus Conference, the EASTAP Theory & Practice Task force proposal refers to dramaturgy concepts of scholars such as Jeroen Peters, Patrice Pavis, Nicolaus Müller Schoell etc. who consider dramaturgy as the research of a common ground for construction of sense or significant potentials and therefore the catalyzing function for analyzing materials and explore questions. In this frame of establishing a common ground between theoricians and artists, we would like to explore the question of collaborative and dialogic processes that intertwines theory and practice in artistic research.
The round table will propose 4 examples of Artist/ Academic collaboration. For all the 4 participants, the procedure applied will be the same:
1 - A short narrative contextualizing the collaborative process (with occasional participation online of the artist (s) involved)
2- Naming the goals and means in each process
3- Analyzing the short/long terms effects with attention to failures as well as to success
4- Critique of the applied methodology and suggesting new modes of “making sense together”
